Browser push notifications for Campaign Agent

Browser push notifications let you know when Campaign Agent finishes a task — even if you've switched to another tab or application. You don't need to stay on the Campaign Agent tab while waiting for longer actions to complete.

How it works

When Campaign Agent is working on a task and you navigate away from the tab, a browser notification is sent once the task is done. The notification stays visible until you close it or return to the Campaign Agent tab.

Notifications are only sent when:

  • Browser notifications are enabled.
  • You’re not actively viewing the Campaign Agent tab.

Enable notifications

After 10 seconds of waiting for a task to complete, Campaign Agent prompts you to subscribe to browser notifications.

To enable notifications:

  1. Click Allow in the Campaign Agent prompt.
  2. Confirm the permission request in your browser settings.

If notifications are blocked

If you click Allow in Campaign Agent but block the permission in your browser settings, notifications won't be delivered. Campaign Agent will inform you that notifications are turned off and where to enable them in your browser settings.

Manage your notification preferences

Dismissing the prompt

If you're not ready to enable notifications, click Not now. The prompt will appear again after you complete a certain number of longer-running actions (actions that take more than 10 seconds):

  • First dismissal: The prompt appears again after 10 long-running actions.
  • Second dismissal: The prompt appears again after another 10 long-running actions.
  • Third dismissal: The prompt no longer appears automatically.

If you've dismissed the prompt three times but want to enable notifications later, you can do so directly in your browser settings.

Enable notifications through your browser

You can enable or manage notifications at any time through your browser settings. If you ask Campaign Agent about notifications, it can guide you through the process.

To review or update your settings, follow the instructions for your browser:

Make sure notifications are allowed both in your browser and at the operating system level. If you previously blocked notifications, re-enable them manually in your browser settings for the Campaign Agent site.
