Integration

The following is a guide on how to integrate Made With Intent with Bloomreach Engagement.

The Made With Intent integration allows you to push Intent Metrics into Bloomreach to elevate your predictive targeting across experiments, web layers, emails, and audience management.

How to set it up

Set up the integration in Intent

The first step is to enable the Bloomreach integration in Intent. For more information, visit the Made With Intent documentation.

  1. Go to your Intent account and navigate to the Integrations page.
  2. Select Bloomreach and click Configure.
  1. Click Add integration and follow the setup process to decide how the integration should function. For example, how data should be sent and when it should be updated.

Within the integration configuration, you can choose whether to send data as Customer Properties (which will update a user's Customer Properties within their Bloomreach profile) or as an Event (which will send a named event to Bloomreach containing the information).

If you choose Event, you can then decide when this will trigger:

  • On event: This will send every inference response received in Intent.
  • On change: When the data changes between inference responses.
  • On page view: This will only send information on each pageview.
  1. Once your setup is complete, click Save after which the integration will be enabled.

Once you have set up the integration within the platform, you can follow the steps below to see the data in Bloomreach Engagement.

  1. Go to your Bloomreach Engagement account.
  2. Go to Data & Assets > Data manager.

You will be able to see the Intent data customer properties (from your selected data pack) that are being passed through, as displayed below:

Use cases

Email capture

With the Made With Intent integration, you can enhance your email capture strategy by leveraging real-time user behavior insights. Traditional triggers like time spent on site or mouse movement are replaced with context-aware interactions.

For example, trigger a welcome email sign-up form when a user enters the "building intent" phase and is "focused", ensuring engagement and higher response rates. Customize the content of your forms based on the user's phase and state, which will offer relevant incentives at the right time.

By applying this intent framework, you create behavior-driven campaigns that assess users through different phases, mirroring in-person relationships and enhancing your CRM program's effectiveness

Email campaigns

With the Made With Intent integration, you can enrich your email campaigns with contextual data. This approach enhances personalization and boosts engagement.

Instead of a generic reminder for cart abandonment, tailor your campaign based on the user's intent and state when they leave your site. Decide whether to offer a discount, adjust its level, or provide alternative content.

Real-time intent context transforms single-minded campaigns into effective, personalized communications. Segment your campaigns by user phase (engage, build intent, maintain intent, convert) to deliver relevant content. This strategy mirrors in-person relationships within your CRM program, which drives user progression based on their state.
