Overview of Data & Assets

Having your data organized is essential for making effective use of Bloomreach Engagement. Data & Assets tools enable you to view, manage, and customize tracking of your customer data. Be it by allowing you to browse the data through a single customer view, storing your items and campaign data through catalogs, or creating custom metrics and properties to be tracked by Bloomreach Engagement.

You can find the data and assets tools by clicking on the Data & Assets section located in the menu on the left.

What does the tool do?

When can it be useful?

1. Customers

Displays the database of your customers and allows you to view the data of a single customer.

Search for a particular user, or gain insights into particular pieces of raw data.

2. Catalogs

Stores your data in a table with a key value of item_id.

Create a database of your items, articles or specific campaign data in Bloomreach Engagement.

3. Vouchers

Loads a pool of vouchers into Bloomreach Engagement. It does not substitute a voucher system, however.

Insert your vouchers into any campaign, and track their usage.

4. Asset Manager

Create and manage your Email, Web layer and Html block templates.

Automation marketing use cases.

5. Tag Manager

Runs custom javascript codes on specific web pages.

Specifying custom tracking or retargeting audience in Google Ads.

6. Data Manager

Manage customer and event properties.

Setting up event expiration, creating aggregates, event segmentations or expressions.

7. Metrics

Extract a measure value from your data.

Create a metric for your dashboards or reports.

8. Imports

Imports your data into Bloomreach Engagement.

Adding new customers, catalogs, vouchers or events.

9. Aggregates and running aggregates

Creates a new attributes for events or customers from the existing date.

Track important properties of your customers such as the customer life time value.

10. Expressions

Create a derivative attributes from existing data.

Calculate time from last purchase.

11. Event segmentations

Displays a chart graph of custom groups of events.

Analyse the properties of events. For instance, the devices of session_start events.

12. System events

Default tracking of events already included in Bloomreach Engagement.

Allows you to do standard tracking without the need to create custom events.
