High-quality and up-to-date product data improves Clarity's responses. Clarity uses three types of data to generate accurate, contextual responses: product feed data, customer profile data, and data sources.
Product feed data contains your catalog information—product names, descriptions, prices, availability, and attributes.
Product data helps Clarity understand what you sell and recommend relevant products to shoppers. Ensure you send the mandatory product catalog attributes in your product feed.
Customer profile data from Bloomreach Engagement includes browsing behavior, purchase history, preferences, and engagement patterns. Clarity uses this information to
- Personalize responses based on individual customer context and needs.
- Tailor product recommendations to match shopper interests and shopping patterns.
Data sources include non-product and non-shopper information like FAQs, brand stories, sizing charts, and merchant policies.
General knowledge data helps Clarity answer questions about your business, explain product features, and provide guidance beyond basic product information. Ensure that you send the merchant information to the general data sources.
