What to expect when you integrate
This page covers what's helpful to know before you start integrating—how the platform handles data, what the release cadence looks like, and where to get help when you need it.
Marketers can move independently
Bloomreach gives marketers the tools to build personalized experiences across up to 17 channels without raising IT requests for every change. Weblayers, A/B tests, email campaigns, webhooks—these can all be configured directly in the platform.
When marketing depends on IT for routine execution, campaigns slow down and customers get inconsistent experiences. Bloomreach is designed to reduce that dependency. The most successful teams use it to shift day-to-day execution to marketing, while IT focuses on higher-complexity work like new channel integrations.
Data is prepared at ingestion, not at access
Bloomreach stores most customer data in in-memory framework (IMF), which keeps working datasets in RAM at all times. This enables real-time reporting and immediate campaign execution—segments evaluate instantly, reports refresh in real time, and personalized experiences trigger without delay.
The trade-off is that data needs to be prepared and structured before it enters the platform. Ingestion requires upfront effort in data preparation and ETL, but that work pays off every time the data is accessed. Once clean data is in, marketers can build segments, define attributes, and configure campaigns without BI or IT involvement.
Your existing models work alongside Bloomreach
Bloomreach doesn't replace external AI models or recommendation engines—it activates them. Outputs from your existing models can be ingested in real time or via imports and used as customer attributes to drive segmentation, campaign triggers, and personalization.
For example, a purchase probability score from your own model can become a customer attribute that determines which campaigns a customer enters and which offers they see.
See Predictions and Recommendations.
Security and privacy are built in
Bloomreach was the first company in the world to receive GDPR certification. The platform holds 5 ISO certifications: ISO 9001 (Data Management), ISO 27001 (Security Information Management), ISO 27017 (Cloud Services), and ISO 27018 (Protection of Personal Data in Cloud). See the certificates on the our website.
Security features are part of the platform, not add-ons:
