Marketing agent (Affinity)
Marketing agent is your AI marketing partner, from first idea to live campaign. Describe your goal, and the agent works with you through every stage:
- Spot growth opportunities in your data.
- Choose the use case most likely to move your goal.
- Identify the data the campaign needs.
- Build the campaign and its content, including variants for testing.
- Monitor performance and suggest adjustments.
Read on to learn how the agent handles each stage and what you can do with it.
What Marketing agent is
You bring the goal and make the decisions. Marketing agent does the strategy, analysis, and building with you, in a conversation.
Most marketing tools need hands-on work at every step. You build each campaign, set audience rules, test ideas, and track results. That caps how many campaigns your team can run and how fast you can react. Marketing agent takes on that groundwork. For example, setting up brand guidelines takes a few minutes instead of days.
Marketing agent runs on top of Bloomreach. It uses your customer data, campaigns, and recommendations directly. It isn't limited to Bloomreach, though:
- It has its own capabilities, such as clustering models and insights on data the platform doesn't model.
- It reaches your other systems, such as a loyalty system or a weather API, through the HTTP integrations set up in your project.
How Marketing agent works
Think of Marketing agent as a general AI assistant, specialized for marketing. It's built from three parts that you can see and shape.
| Part | What it does | What you can shape |
|---|---|---|
| Connectors | Reach systems beyond Bloomreach, such as a loyalty system or a weather API. | Describe the logic you need in plain language. The agent uses your project's integrations both while building the campaign and at send time. |
| Memory | Hold what the agent knows about your brand, your business, and you. | Review, edit, or delete anything the agent remembers on the Memory page. |
| Skills | Define how the agent does things. | Bloomreach provides core skills, and you can add your own playbooks. |
Memory has two parts. Organization memory covers areas like brand identity, voice and copy rules, campaign operations, and legal and compliance. User memory covers details about you. For example, tell the agent your business never uses vouchers, and it applies that rule from then on.

You stay in control
- Grounded in your data and rules: Every campaign follows your consent data, frequency policy, send caps, and quiet hours. The agent flags consent gaps before it builds.
- Within your permissions: Marketing agent inherits your Marketing permissions, so it can only do what you can already do yourself.
- Nothing goes live without your approval: The agent drafts and validates its work, then publishes only when you approve it.
Get access
To use Marketing agent, you need:
- Role: Loomi Agentic User role assigned to your user account.
- Permissions: Campaign editor and recommendations access, in most cases. Marketing agent works within your existing permissions, so it can only do what you can already do yourself.
Historical data: After activation, the Bloomreach team prepares about 6 months of your historical data. Insights and audience insights rely on this data.
Learn about the channels the agent supports. You can build through conversation, edit manually, or do both.
