Missing or Empty Conversion Basket

Problem and Background

In a conversion pixel, the “basket” field contains detailed conversion parameters for each product that is purchased. An empty “basket” field is an error.

Debugging Steps

  1. Request the list of examples for all conversion pixels with an empty basket field from Bloomreach Support.
  2. Each example for this check provides an order ID if found in a conversion pixel that has an empty “basket” field. Check the order ids and why there is no “basket” information for these.

Common Causes

The major reason for this error is broken pixel implementation.

Solution

Check with your technical team on the reason for empty “basket” information and fix the pixel implementation. If the issue persists, raise a ticket with Bloomreach Support.
