Performance dashboard FAQs

Which legacy Insights reports will be retained, and which ones are being discontinued?

The capabilities available in legacy Insights remain accessible in the new Performance dashboard; only the workflows look different. You can access data from July 2025, onward.

Here's how to find the same capabilities:

  • Collections:

    • Use custom scopes. Group queries, categories, brand, or products and track their combined performance over time.
    • Existing collections won't be migrated automatically. Recreate them as custom scopes in the Performance dashboard.
  • Opportunities: Use Site search and Category tabs with filtering. Sort by bounce rate descending to find high-bounce queries, or filter for low conversion rate to identify underperforming categories.

  • Playbooks: Use query and category drill-down views. Select any query or category from the performance table to see its full-funnel breakdown, product performance, and trend data.

  • Library: Use Overall, Site search, and Category tabs. Sitewide and site search overview data are available across these three tabs.

  • Activities: Capabilities similar to Activities will be available in a future release. In the meantime, use custom scopes to compare performance.

For example, suppose you created a ranking rule for 10 queries on June 11. Create a custom scope for those queries, set the current period to start on June 11, and the system automatically sets the matching prior window for comparison. The trend then shows how those queries performed after the change.

  • Site search analytics: Go to the Site search tab.

    • For the Overall performance report, see the metric cards.
    • For other legacy reports, use the preset filters, namely Trending searches/keywords, Top opportunities, New queries with highest visits, No product clicks, No search result keywords, Top searched keywords, No revenue keywords.
  • Category analytics: Go to the Category tab.

    • For the Overall performance report, see the metric cards.
    • For the legacy Top categories report, use the preset filters: Top opportunities and Top categories.
