5. End the A/B test

After evaluating A/B test results, you can end the test when you're satisfied with your results or want to retest with changes to the experiences' variants.

When you're ready to end the test, go to the A/B testing application. Find your test on the A/B tests page. Look for the loading icon next to the test name or click to apply the “Running” filter. Click the Open button next to the test.

End test after confirming winner or no winner

Confirm a winner and end A/B test

1. Select a winner bucket. Click the End test button.

   

2. You’ll see a confirmation that the winner variant will become the new default experience for all site visitors. Click End test to confirm.

   

3. The test will end, and all visitors will see the winner variant experience you selected. The visitor experience doesn't change if you select the control bucket as the winner.

Confirm no winner and end test

1. Alternatively, if there’s no winner, choose “No winner - Disable the rule.” Click the End test button.

   

2. This shows a confirmation to turn off the rule in the test. Click End test to confirm.

Note

Note that the “No winner - Disable the rule” option isn't available for:

• Tests with Global recall algorithm rules.
• Tests where the “Default behavior” is one of the buckets.

Open completed tests

You can always return and open the completed test (marked with a green dot) by clicking the Open button.
