Pixel Validator Enhancements - Recommendations and Content Search

We’re happy to announce the release of Pixel Validator Enhancements for Discovery! This enhancement increases the capability of our Pixel Validator Chrome Extension to include reporting for Recommendations and Content Search pixels.

Enhanced Revenue Attribution

Launch date: December 6th, 2022

We are excited to launch Enhanced Revenue Attribution. With this enhancement, we’re moving towards a new revenue attribution model that lets us better understand the interactions generated from your 3rd party(non-Bloomreach) recommendations widgets.

🌟 What's in it for your business

This upgrade enables Bloomreach to capture revenue interactions, which optimizes the data that Bloomreach learns from. The learnings then are used to improve product relevance and ranking.

👉 How to integrate it with your site

This is applicable to Discovery customers who integrated before October 2022. If you’re using 3rd party recommendations, install these pixels to benefit from the enhanced attribution.

We recommend that you integrate the updated non-Bloomreach recommendation pixel no later than October 1, 2023. Connect with your Digital Experience Manager to learn more.

Semantic Search in French and German

Launch date: June 30th, 2022

We are excited to launch Semantic Search in French and German. This feature enables you to leverage our French and German semantic understanding signals into the highest revenue drivers, specifically Search Ranking and Search Recall.

🌟 What's in it for your business

  • Search Ranking
  • Improve ranking for torso/tail queries in French/German by understanding user intent from the product type. This provides much more accurate and relevant results compared to traditional keyword searches, ultimately improving your conversions and revenue.

  • Search Recall
  • Reduce null results with smart query relaxation, which allows us to show similar products when we can’t find an exact match. For example, if a customer searches for Brand A armchair and that product doesn’t exist, we can show Brand B armchairs that are very similar instead of taking the customer to a null results page. This creates a better experience for the user and should lead to higher conversions.
