Data hub is our new upgraded platform, which we rolled out in August 2025. It offers a single unified integration for passing your data through to your Bloomreach products.

You have access to Data hub if you've implemented with Bloomreach after August 2025.

Customers who have implemented before August 2025 should follow the existing documentation for Engagement, Discovery, and Clarity.

Contains product flags or tags for categorization and filtering.

The flags attribute provides a list of tags or markers that can be applied to products
for various purposes such as merchandising indicators, product attributes, promotional
badges, or internal categorization.
Each flag in the list represents a distinct label or marker that can be used for
filtering, search refinement, or business logic applications.

Flags attribute is not currently utilized by Engagement application.

Discovery

Used for:

  • Multi-value faceting and filtering

  • Merchandising rules

  • Search refinement and categorization

  • Badge and indicator display logic

  • Product grouping and collections

The flags attribute in Discovery enables flexible product tagging and categorization.
Products can be filtered by one or more flags, allowing customers to narrow their search
results based on multiple criteria.
Merchandisers can use flags to trigger specific rules, create dynamic collections, or
apply special treatment to flagged products in search results and recommendations.
