View and explore records
Data hub rollout
Data hub provides new unified API integration methods for sending data to multiple Bloomreach products. Access is being rolled out in phases. For new implementations, we recommend using Data hub where available. Existing product-specific integrations remain fully supported for Engagement, Discovery, and Clarity.
Prerequisites
Knowledge
Understanding of item collection concepts.
Process
-
Created an item collection.
-
Ingested data via full update via API or with Imports.
Steps to view and explore records
Verify that your records arrived correctly.
-
Go to Data hub > Items in your Bloomreach workspace.
-
Locate and open the existing item collection from the item collections listing page.
-
Click the Records tab.
-
Switch your data view between:
-
Records list: View all the records as tiles.
-
Record fields: View the list of fields across all records. To add attribute mapping for the field individually, click +Attribute mapping.
-
-
Click any tile to see the list view or the complete JSON structure.
-
For products with variants, click the nested variant tabs to see each variant record.
Records show your raw data exactly as you sent it. These records remain flexible and schema-less until you configure mappings. Click the More details icon to view which job created/modified the product and variant records.
Bulk map fields to suggested attributes
-
Click Map fields to attributes. The Map fields to attributes modal helps with bulk attribute creation based on your fields.
-
The system autodetects and suggests default mappings for fields whose names match Bloomreach system attributes. For fields different from Bloomreach system attributes, the system suggests custom attributes. Therefore, you may see a single field with multiple suggested attributes, especially if the system detects several relevant mapping options.
-
Modify the suggested attributes and the data types, if needed.
-
Once complete, click Apply mapping and update schema. This updates the schema.
Next step
Configure your schema mapping.
Maintain and update records data
-
Review how to update records for ongoing data maintenance.
-
Check how to format records.
