The wholesale cost or purchase price of the product or variant, excluding any markup or
margin. This represents the actual cost to the business before adding profit margins.
Value must be a float ≥ 0 with maximum 2 decimal precision.
No currency symbols, commas, or text allowed.
The value represents the cost in the catalog's base currency.
If the product has variants:

cost_per_unitshould only be supplied at the variant level for those variants -
Product-level
cost_per_unitwill be ignored when variants are present -
Each variant should have its own cost_per_unit value if applicable
This attribute is typically lower than the price attribute, with the difference
representing the profit margin.
Value of 0 may be used for digital products with no marginal cost or promotional
items.
