Releases

5.1.0

Released: 31 May 2023

  • SERVPLUG-110 Improve error handling.
In HAL resources, on exception, instead of a 204 No Content, return a 500 Internal Server Error with a useful error message and back-end stack trace logging.
  • SERVPLUG-122 Avoid NullPointerException when no converters are found for a node.
This entails some restructuring of the internal Spring bean configuration: bean "halContentHalResourceConverters" has been removed; its argument beans "customContentHalResourceConverters" and "defaultContentHalResourceConverters" are now used separately. Also, there's now a "useDefaultConverters" boolean bean (true by default), in case an implementation wants no default converters to be used.
