๐Ÿš€ Release 2026-52

Release date: Jul 28, 2026

TL;DR : View search, category, and product data in a new single, consistent Performance dashboard interface. Apply Variant slicing across your entire site.

Analyze your site's performance with Performance dashboard

We're excited to launch the new Performance dashboard. This application brings your search, category, and product data into a single, consistent interface. It replaces the legacy Insights reports with a unified, faster, and more flexible experience.

Find the new application under Insights > Performance dashboard

What's new

  • Use the focused tabs โ€” Overall, Site search, Category, Products, and Pages โ€” to analyze different angles of your site's performance.
  • Use metric cards, interactive charts, and sortable performance tables to maintain consistent analysis across all tabs.
  • Drill down into any query, category, or product to audit its full-funnel breakdown and identify the specific items driving performance.
  • Apply filters to isolate data by specific metrics or trends, such as revenue growth over 5%.
  • Create custom scopes to group specific queries, categories, or products and track their collective performance trends over time.

Business use cases

Build insights reporting flexibly. Use cases include but arenโ€™t limited to:

  • Spot underperforming search terms fast: Under the Site search tab, filter by low conversion rate or sort by bounce rate descending, and see which queries need attention.

  • Pinpoint sales sources: Drill into any product to see the exact revenue contribution from specific search queries and categories. For example, track how much revenue originates from the search term "black dress" compared to the "women's dresses" category.

  • Measure impact of a ranking rule change: Create a custom scope for the affected queries, and set the time period to compare.

Legacy Insights impact and removal

The following modules will stop receiving new data from August 5, 2026, onwards, but will remain accessible for historical data until they are removed from the UI.

Removed from application in December 2026:

Removed from application in April 2027:

Apply Variant slicing across your entire site

Apply Variant slicing globally. Apply a single slicing attribute โ€” such as color or size โ€” to all queries, all categories, and your entire catalog at once.

What's new

  • Turn on global Variant slicing from a global rule and choose a slicing attribute for the whole site.
  • Keep full control at the query and category level. Local rules take precedence, so you can slice specific queries differently or leave them unsliced.

Why it's valuable

Make variants discoverable across your storefront with a single setting, so shoppers see the full range of colors, sizes, or styles wherever they browse โ€” without you rebuilding slicing rules one at a time.
