1.264 Invite External Users and Update Your Shopify Integration
Explore the latest updates in Mobile Push Notifications, update your Shopify integration, and Invite external users to your Engagement app.
Invite External Users
Now, inviting external users to Bloomreach Engagement is simpler than ever, even without the need for your company’s Single Sign-On. This feature is especially useful if:
- You collaborate with agencies or individuals outside your company’s identity provider (e.g., Azure, Okta).
- You aim to distinguish between internal and external users.
For setup and more details, visit our documentation.
Mobile Push Notifications Updates
The Device targeting settings in Mobile Push Notifications have been updated to offer increased precision by allowing the targeting of Android or Huawei devices exclusively, instead of using the built-in heuristic.

Loomi Analytics Assistant: Ending the Beta Phase
As of June 20th, we have sunset the Loomi Analytics Assistant in its Beta version. If you wish to continue utilizing this feature, contact your Customer Success Manager for more information.
Find out more about the capabilities of Loomi Analytics Assistant in our documentation.
Shopify Consent Improvements
With the latest release we improve the Consent Management. Now, the bidirectional consent flow can be set up within a few seconds. Bloomreach automatically reflects consent status in Shopify, and in case of any changes, makes those changes in Shopify.
Learn more about this update in our documentation.
In order to use this feature, existing integrations need to accept a new scope, which will allow Bloomreach to reflect consent changes in Shopify (‘write’ scope). To do so:
Flow for integrations via Official App:
- Click on the Upgrade Shopify integration.
- Go to the Official Bloomreach App inside the Shopify App Store, click Open and approve the new Scope.
Flow for integrations via Custom App
- Click on the Upgrade Shopify integration.
- Inside your shopify Admin portal go to Settings > Apps and sales channels > Develop apps > Select your existing private app > Configuration > Edit and inside Admin API access scopes select
read_customer_events
&write_customers
.
Save those changes and enjoy bi-directional consent flow.
Shopify Integration API update - action needed (for Custom App integrations)
With this release, we have updated the API version to 2024-01
for the Shopify integration.
Make sure to update your Custom App inside your Shopify account. To do so, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels > Develop apps > Select your existing private app > Configuration > Edit, then select 2024-01
version under Webhook subscriptions version and Save changes.
