BloomReach Feature Request Process

  1. Idea/Need/Request Collection:
    Using Aha's Idea portal, it is the centralized place for all Bloomreach field team members to submit feature requests, ideas, and operation pain points they heard from customers. Bugs should still go to BloomRach Support. But not Idea Portal.
  2. Triage/Grooming:
    Product managers will review all new ideas on a weekly basis to classified between Considered and Will Not Work On.
  3. Quarterly Project Planning:
    Every quarter product managers will synthesize all considered ideas and prioritized based on two factors. 
    1. How much this Idea/Need/Request will contribute to Bloomreach's internal business objective and key results
    2. Is the Idea/Need/Request serving a large portion of the market Bloomreach want to serve? But not just serving one or a few customers. 
  4. Project/Feature Releases and Communication:
    brSM & brSEO release features every two weeks and brXM have 5 releases every year.  Every brSMfeatures and bug fixes will be captured in the release note, which can be accessed on our Help Center.
