1.273 Advanced RCS messaging, profile reengagement, and Experiment script updates

Enhance your mobile messaging with Bloomreach's RCS integration, reengage bounced profiles, and retrigger script modifications in Experiments.
Version released between 29.10. - 07.11.2024.

RCS integration

The launch of the RCS integration makes Bloomreach the first omnichannel marketing platform to launch full-featured RCS support! RCS is a significant leap in mobile messaging, allowing brands to create rich, interactive experiences within customers’ default messaging apps. RCS extends beyond traditional SMS with rich functionality including high-resolution images and videos, carousels, and interactive buttons.

With the RCS integration, you can:

  • Send tailored RCS messages to your customers.
  • Create rich formats such as text, media, choice, card, and carousel messages.
  • Build trust via branded, verified sender profiles.
  • Boost engagement with two-way conversations.
  • Increase conversations and collect zero-party data via interactive buttons.
  • Enable SMS fallback to maximize message delivery.

RCS is actively being rolled out across the mobile messaging ecosystem including countries, carrier networks, and mobile operating systems. As RCS expands around the world, more countries and networks are getting added. For details on the latest list of coverages, see our Countries and networks supporting RCS section.

Reengage permanently bounced profiles

Now, you have an improved option to reengage a permanently bounced customer profile. This solution provides more flexibility to accommodate individual requirements for bounce management and unforeseen changes from email providers.

Retrigger script modifications in Experiments

Script modifications in Experiments can now be retriggered by the front-end application. This is useful to respond to user interactions that change the page without reloading it.
