Release 1.320

TL;DR: You can now bring customer segments from your data warehouse into campaigns and scenarios with external segments, so there's no need to rebuild your segment logic. Setting up the Microsoft SNDS integration is also simpler, because Bloomreach sets it up for you.

Release date: 14.10. - 19.10.2026

Bring segments from your data warehouse into campaigns and scenarios

External segments let you import customer segments defined outside your project, for example in your data warehouse. You can use them in campaigns and scenarios just like segments you built natively, with no need to rebuild your segment logic.

What's new

  • Register segments and push membership updates from your source system through a new integration under Data & Assets > Integrations.
  • Find synced segments under Analyses > External segments.
  • Target external segments as customer properties. Search for the ext_segment_ prefix to list them all.

Business use cases

  • Reuse segmentation you've already built elsewhere, instead of maintaining the same logic in two places.

Import files with changing names into Data hub

Data hub imports into item collections and catalogs can find files by pattern. If your system adds a date or timestamp to each file it exports, enter a regular expression instead of a fixed file name, and Data hub picks the right file on each run.

What's new

  • Dynamic file matching: Set File matching to Dynamic and enter a regular expression to match file names that change with each export.
  • Selection rules: When more than one file matches, choose Last modified to import the most recently modified file, or Last alphabetically to import the last one by name.
  • Selected file in preview: The data preview shows which file the import selected, so you can check your pattern before you save the import.
  • Supported sources: SFTP, Amazon S3, and Google Cloud Storage.

Business use cases

  • Daily product feeds: Import a catalog export named with the date, such as catalog_2026-10-14.csv, without changing how your system names files.
  • Migration to Data hub: Move file-based catalog imports from legacy catalogs to Data hub without reworking file names or upstream exports.
  • Price and stock updates: Keep item collections current from frequent exports whose file names include a timestamp.

Feature impact

  • Imports for customers, events, vouchers, and legacy catalogs are unchanged.
  • Data hub patterns don't use enclosing slashes and follow RE2 syntax. If you're moving a pattern from a legacy catalog import, check it before you reuse it.

Get Microsoft SNDS data with simpler setup

  • Sign up for the Microsoft SNDS integration more easily. The integration is updated, and Bloomreach sets it up for you.
  • Check which IPs are connected at a glance. After setup, your connected IPs appear on a read-only page.

Mobile SDK updates

React Native SDK

New release of React Native SDK 4.2.0 has been delivered: exponea-react-native-sdk v4.2.0

October 08, 2026

Added:

  • Adds support for React Native 0.87.
  • Updates the native Android SDK to version 5.4.0.
  • Updates the native iOS SDK to version 5.0.0, which raises the native SDK's minimum iOS deployment target to 15.0. The React Native SDK still requires iOS 15.1 or higher.
  • Adds support for the iOS UIScene lifecycle, including the ExponeaSceneHandler helper for passing launch options from a SceneDelegate. Apple requires the UIScene lifecycle for apps built with the iOS 27 SDK. For migration instructions, see the SDK version update guide.
  • Adds the registerLoggerCallback and unregisterLoggerCallback methods to receive native SDK logs in JavaScript. These methods work on Android only and have no effect on iOS.
  • Adds a new example app.
  • Adds documentation for Android Auto Backup rules to the setup guide.

Fixed:

  • Fixes iOS push notification opens being tracked twice and push notification actions running twice. The SDK now tracks push notification tokens and opens only through the required AppDelegate calls. For details, see the SDK version update guide.
  • Fixes registerSegmentationDataCallback to allow multiple callbacks for the same category, and unregisterSegmentationDataCallback to remove the correct callback instance.
  • Fixes iOS in-app content blocks and carousels not reloading after the component is remounted.
  • Fixes the iOS content block carousel ignoring overrideDefaultBehavior.
  • Fixes outdated ExponeaRNAppDelegate references in the iOS documentation.
  • Fixes an Android build failure when the app uses React Native 0.83 or 0.84.
