Milestone 2. Pixel deployment - Bloomreach Experience - Open Source CMS

Milestone 2. Pixel deployment

Here's what we did before starting this milestone

Together, we defined a detailed scope of the integration project.

What happens in this milestone?

In this part of the platform milestone, you deploy the pixel on your live site. We recommend that you complete this step early in your integration process. Your Bloomreach TPM can provide further information for your specific integration.

What you do
  • You will add the pixel to all of your pages including mobile, desktop and tablet pages, either by adding the pixel code to your website or using a Tag Manager
  • You will define and map the parameters of the JavaScript tracking pixel and add events to track specific actions people take on your website.
  • You will validate your pixel deployment

Add the Bloomreach Pixel to your website

Important
Your tracking pixel needs to run for at least 30 days before we can do useful relevance and search quality testing.

There are 2 easy ways to get started:

  1. Install the Bloomreach Pixel on your site

The Bloomreach Pixel consists of 5 event tags for tracking PageViews, Add to Cart, Search, Suggest and Quickview actions that people take on your website.
Simply follow our step-by-step instructions to guide you through the implementation process. Learn more.

  2. Use a Tag Manager

If your website uses a tag manager such as GTM or Ensighten, you can use your tag manager to easily place the Bloomreach Pixel on your website. Learn more.

What's next?
